How Do I Know I’m Pregnant?
A home pregnancy test can give you a quick answer, but those tests aren’t always right, especially when you take them early. A negative result might still be a positive pregnancy, and the uncertainty can be hard to sit with.
That’s why it’s helpful to confirm with a medical-grade test. Your advocate will walk you through a free pregnancy test at our center and answer any questions that come up, with no pressure and no judgment. If your test is positive, you may qualify for a free ultrasound to confirm how far along you are.
Common Pregnancy Symptoms
Every woman’s body responds differently, so your experience won’t look exactly like anyone else’s. Still, a few signs show up often enough to notice.
The most common is a missed or late period. According to the Mayo Clinic, many women also feel nausea, sore or tender breasts, more tiredness than usual, or sudden changes in appetite and food cravings. Some notice these signs within a week or two, and others feel nothing at all for a while.
Symptoms like these can point to pregnancy, but they can also have other causes. A test is the only way to know for sure.
